SHIPS´FIRE-PROTECTION
Ships' fire-fighting equipment shall be maintained in good order and, especially on ships carrying dangerous goods, be ready for immediate use. The crew shall be properly trained and familiar with the use of this equipment.

FIRE PROCEDURES ONBOARD

In the event of fire onboard your ship
• an alarm shall be sounded with the ship's siren
• call the rescue services and VTS Gothenburg on +46 31647771
• actions are to be taken to fight the fire
• all cargo handling shall be stopped
• prepare for the ship’s possible warping.

In the event of a fire ashore or onboard another ship in the vicinity
• call the rescue services and VTS Gothenburg +46 31 64 77 71
• go on fire-fighting standby
• all cargo handling shall be stopped
