Each year, over 300,000 new vehicles pass through Gothenburg. Approximately half of these vehicles are destined for the European market and are handled at the Ro-Ro Terminal. The other half past through the Car Terminal, to or from other regions in the world. Apart from quayside activities, such as loading and unloading, marshalling and storage are also offered as well as PDI services, which involve adaptation of cars to the specifications in different countries. The Port of Gothenburg handles around 15 different car makes.
