RISK MANAGEMENT

Risk Management works mainly with insurable risks. The department is responsible for:
● Carrying out risk analyses as part of operations and projects.
● Assuming responsibility for the Port of Gothenburg insurance solutions through the subsidiary Scanport Insurance.
● Working with and initiating a loss prevention control programme.
● Responsibility for investigation and loss adjustment in conjunction with claims for damages lodged against the Port of Gothenburg.
● Examining contracts and documents from a risk management point of view.
● Providing training in security-related matters.
● Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
● Monitoring and co-ordination of legal advice in the handling of legal processes and disputes.
● Co-ordinate the development of continuity plans within the Port of Gothenburg.
