The greater volumes of goods that the Port of Gothenburg handles, the more attractive it gets for ship- and goods owners. An increased number of calls to the port is cost-effective and brings synergy effect to all parties. In order to meet constantly growing demands for optimised goods flows, the Port of Gothenburg offers efficient infrastructure in sea and land transport through tailored logistic solutions.

Together with Business Region Göteborg, the National Rail Administration, the National Road Administration, Göteborg Landvetter Airport and the Swedish Maritime Administration, we constitute Logistic Hub Scandinavia. The purpose of the cooperation is to reinforce Gothenburg's position as Sweden's strongest logistic hub.

THE FORCE OF ATTRACTION INCREASES WITH COOPERATION
Through our offer of full service to arriving ships, the customer obtains an attractive total solution for hos goods flows. The services can be divided into two different categories; those that are close to the quay and those outside the port area itself, such as storage, distribution and forwarding. Port of Gothenburg is responsible for the quayside activities.

Activities outside the port area are carried out by a network of partners in cooperation that are all members of the Port Community. Port of Gothenburg also owns 50% of Scandinavian Distripoint, which offers logistic activities on attractive land in the immediate vicinity of the port. A long-term, strategic owrking method has contributed to Gothenburg being on several occasions selected as Sweden's best logistic location.
