PICKING UP AND DROPPING OFF CONTAINERS
- All container checks and registration take place at the Container Control Points
- All locking devices are put in order. Opened and locked at the CK 4 control point, entrance Gate 4. Does not apply to CK 3, entrance Gate 3, where this takes place in the reloading area.
- Once the truck is in the reloading area and ready for relifting, the driver should proceed to the waiting box and push the STOP sign to one side (Gate 3) or turn on the green lamp (CK 4)
- The sign/lamp should be on until reloading has been completed.
- Further information can be provided by the personnel at the Container Control Points.

RULES FOR TRAINEES AND INSTRUCTORS ENTERING THE PORT OF GOTHENBURG TO RELOAD CONTAINERS
In order to confirm the purpose of the visit, the Port of Gothenburg has a security stipulation that the instructor must produce a certificate from the employer confirming that he/she really is a representative of the haulage company in the capacity of instructor.
To be valid, the certificate should
1. be printed on the haulage company's documents with the company's logo visible.
2. state the period (days) for the assignment.
3. state the name of the trainee.
4. state the name of the instructor.
5. be signed by the managing director of the company or the transport manager responsible.
Routine when reporting at the gate:
1. Both the instructor and the trainee go to the hatch, explain why they are there and show the certificate.
2. Both should be able to produce ID.
3. The trainee will receive a personally issued card, activated for one day.
4. The instructor only accompanies the trainee as support.
5. When the persons in question arrive at the Container Control Point (CK 4), the instructor presents the certificate to the personnel at the hatch for their information (the instructor should remain beside the trainee the whole time the trainee is in the port)
