RULES FOR EXTERNAL TRAFFIC
The stipulations in the Traffic Regulations with exceptions for industrial areas are applied. Exceptions and supplements are made for the Skandia Harbour.
- The issuer of a passcard or a contact person is responsible for providing visitors with the necessary traffic information.
- An instructor or assistant should report to the gate. Passengers are not permitted to be present during reloading of containers.
- A reflective jacket or some other form of clothing that helps make the wearer clearly visible must be worn throughout the whole port area.
- The engine should be turned off when the vehicle is at a standstill. This applies in addition to the idling rule.
- For external traffic the routes to a designated area shall apply.
- Traffic outside designated routes must use a flashing/rotating warning light on the roof or be accompanied by an escort vehicle. The exception is freight traffic to the Car Terminal, CFS and traffic to the crane office.
- Only vehicles needed to perform an assignment are permitted in a production area.
- Overtaking along designated routes is forbidden.
